Some dogs need a little extra care: The young dogs so full of energy that a one hour walk just won’t do it. The old dog who just needs some company while she snoozes the day away. The nervous dog who panics when left alone. We’ve got the perfect space for them all.
Our unique dog daycare situation is unlike any other available in San Francisco: Your dog stays in our centrally-located, luxurious, clean San Francisco home with a large yard to play in. That is, when she’s not out romping with friends in SF’s great parks and beaches during her optional group walk. Oh—and we pick up and drop off, too.

Home environment
Daycare dogs hang out and play in Julia’s home with her, enjoying the company of dog friends and lots of attention and cuddle time from Julia and her staff. No big cavernous room, no incessant barking, no rubber floors, no stress. Just a nice, comfortable home to hang out in.
Small group atmosphere
Unlike so many daycares, this isn’t a canine warehouse. No big room stuffed full of dogs here. It’s literally Julia’s home. And that means a small group of dogs carefully screened to enjoy each other’s company, and under constant supervision. At Dogwalks, we maintain a very low dog-to-handler ratio of only 6 to 8 dogs per handler at daycare. This is one of the lowest ratios in the industry, ensuring your dog receives personalized care and attention
Outdoor access
Daycare guests have access all day to play in Julia’s large, fully fenced backyard. Is your dog more of a couch potato? Those are available all day, too.
Luxury
We mentioned the couches. There are also fresh, plush dog beds. And lots of space—2,500 square feet of dog heaven, cleaned meticulously, and a large yard kept in clean, pristine condition. We’re all about attention to detail to make your dog’s day fun and comfortable both.
Daily group walks (extra charge applies, please inquire)
Provided they enjoy it and can come along safely, daycare dogs get a daily off leash group romp with friends at a San Francisco park or beach with one of our wonderful dog walkers. We work with all new dogs to teach them the skills to safely enjoy group walks.
Pick up and drop off included
Your day is long enough. You don’t need to worry about leaving early to drop your dog off at daycare, or picking him up on time after a long day at work. We do all of that for you.
Positive Reinforcement Training Methods ONLY
We work with your dog on basic manners like building a strong recall, sitting and not jumping.
The extra mile
Whether it’s extra cuddles for an older dog, an extra walk for a hyper one, or picking your dog up from a scheduled vet visit, we always look for opportunities to go above and beyond.

Where
Julia’s centrally located San Francisco home.
When
Unlike most daycares, we’re available weekdays and weekends both, excepting major holidays.
We pick up between 9:00AM and 10:30AM and make sure your dog is home to greet you between 4:00PM and 6:00PM (though it is generally closer to 4-4:30).
Daycare Monthly Membership Package Rates
5 days/week: $1390/month ($66.19/day)
4 days/week: $1130/month ($70.63/day)
3 days/week: $870/month ($72.50/day)
